Morgans Restaurant and Wine Bar is proud to have partnered with Bonamici Cellars and will be featuring two of their award winning wines for the months of April and May.
At Morgans Restaurant and Wine Bar we are known for our amazing selection of wines. This month we are featuring the 2013 Sandhill Syrah a deep purple black colour with a lovely bouquet of black cherry, blue plum, blueberry jam, sweet spice, vanilla, chocolate and sweet oak.
We overhauled our old tap system and have included a few more taps than we once had. We have included two new craft brew taps as well as our four new wine FreshTAPs. At FreshTAP, they believe that a wine should taste exactly as the winemaker intended.
**NOW OPEN** In the past we found our short game area for chipping, pitching and sand shots was lacking sufficient space during tournaments and regular play days. The original 1000sqft green and surrounding chipping area was not meeting the needs of our golfers. The bunker was so deep it often left people wondering ‘Where did that shot go?!’ With the many improvements to the driving range made over the last 10 years, it was time to add an upgrade to our chipping area!
Pairing food & wine is not a science. It has a lot to do with personal preference and tastes, so there are no cut and dry rules.
