  • Wayne Vollmer

    Wayne Vollmer

    PGA of Canada Head Professional/Director of Golf

    Wayne’s career in golf as an amateur and professional has spanned over 50 years. As an amateur, he won the Canadian Junior, the B.C Amateur, represented B.C. Willingdon Cup Teams and Canada’s Commonwealth Team. He then turned professional winning the Alberta Open and BC Open and qualifying for the US PGA TOUR where he played for four years. After leaving the tour, Wayne chose the life of a golf professional. He has served as President of the BCPGA , Education Chairman of the CPGA and is a proud member of the BC Golf Hall of Fame. Wayne joined the Morgan Creek Golf Course as the Director of Golf in 1995 where he has enjoyed developing the golf experience for golfers of all ability and age levels.

  • Brett Saunders

    Brett has been named one of Canada’s top-50 instructors, but to say his success ends at the Canadian border would be a serious understatement.

    It extends well beyond that, to mentoring top players at every level in over 40 countries around the globe throughout his 22 years of professional coaching experience.

    Brett plays an instrumental role in the continued development and on-going operations of the Morgan Creek Performance Golf Academy. Saunders has developed some of the most successful game development programs in the country, where a number of leading professionals, college players, amateurs and juniors train to compete against the world’s best. Drawing from 24 years of coaching experience, this sharing of ideas ensures that all students, regardless of age, gender, and ability, receive a unique and completely customized learning experience.     Ray is a graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy and has been teaching golf for over 13 years. His background with a Human Kinetics Degree and Certification in TPI (Golf Fitness) helps students learn of all ages and ability. In 2015, Ray was named “PGA of BC Junior Leader of the Year- Lower Mainland” and is available for private and group lessons in English or Chinese.

    The unique combination of a professional approach and his passion for playing the game, Ray creates an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere for both his junior and adults students.

    Leila’s coaching philosophy is to create a comfortable environment allowing the student to identify their own strengths and weaknesses. By incorporating athletic motion drills and exercises into each lesson, students will have a well-rounded practice routine that golfers of all skill levels and ages can relate to.   • Jonnie Motomochi

    Jonnie Motomochi

    College Golf Advisor

    Jonnie’s success as a golfer at the Provincial, National and International stage, led him to earn a College Golf Scholarship to Oregon State University. During his College Golf career he had much success including being named a two-time All-America Scholar, an Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar and the 2012 Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year. After graduating, Jonnie realized his true passion was in coaching, and at that time he accepted the position as the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach of Oregon State University, where he made a tremendous impact on the continued growth of the Men’s Golf Program. Combining Jonnie's expertise in college golf, his caring personality and ability to bring the best out of his students makes him a great addition to the Morgan Creek Performance Golf Academy.
