While making a list of things to bring to the venue on the day of the wedding is a great idea, having a list of the things that need to be taken out is also really important. Chances are you won’t be the one taking down at the end of the night and you want to make sure everything you want to keep is collected up.


Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your family or there are decorators you can hire to put out and take down your items. The last thing you want is to be in your wedding dress trying to carry all your items out to your car when you could be off to your honey moon or relaxing after having such a full day.


Making a list of what you want and what can be thrown out is extremely helpful to not only the person collecting your things but also the venue so they don’t throw something out accidently. Whether it is your seating chart, top of your cake, extra favors, your guest book, cake knife or champagne flutes those are all items you may want to keep as keepsakes from your wedding.
